While living and working in the USVI, I found a favorite place on a small remote beach that I loved to go. I had one day off each week from the service industry and I desperately needed to unwind and meditate.

This spot is where I became invigorated when the water would rush in around me creating a small pool as I sank into my own relaxing sand pit. I stared out to where the ocean meets the sky thinking, “How can I remember this memory always and how it makes me feel?” Each time I visited my ‘spot’, I started dreaming of a business I could launch that would bring me back to the Caribbean periodically after continuing my career in the service industry back in the states. It was then that I knew I did not want to lose the sense of the Caribbean, it’s healing and meditative abilities and my desire to bring it with me wherever I go.
